iCUT is the family of professional radio-controlled tool holders designed for particularly demanding uses or potentially critical environments for the operator. allowing maximum control and maneuverability in inaccessible and difficult to reach areas. With exceptional stability, intuitive fingertip controls and a remote control range of up to 150-200 metres, the machines make previously time-consuming, labor-intensive and potentially dangerous work easier.
Power and control in your hands
The new iCUT 3.60 Extra offers high performance, together with great autonomy of use and ease of maintenance. The credit goes to the new HATZ 60 HP Stage V engine.
The iCUT3.60 EXTRA radio-controlled tool carrier model, in its version with a cutting head, has been designed to shred grass, brushwood, shrubs and branches even of large diameter (in its forestry version) and always guaranteeing the absolute safety of the operator.
The particular concept of the iCUT project: machine with a very low center of gravity, oil sump designed by HATZ, a historic engine manufacturer, always ensures correct lubrication of the engine even on very steep slopes, maximum operating slope of 55°, extendable undercarriage design and a large gap between the oil sump and the ground; allows the iCUT to be the only means to operate on terrains with significant bumps, in truly impervious working conditions and almost impossible to reach with traditional means.

Stage V certified engine
The 3-cylinder turbo intercooled Hatz 3H50 and 60HP (43.39 kW) engine with 1,464 cc of displacement, delivers maximum torque from 1620 to 2060 rpm. The new engine responds perfectly to the new anti-pollution directives and has the STAGE V – CERTIFIED recognition.
The engine is elastically fixed to the frame by means of optimized and improved silent blocks with functions of containment of all the vibrations produced and especially lateral shaking. The cooling is liquid and uses the super reliable FLEXXAIRE system with reversible fans with both automatic and manual hydraulic control. This cooling system keeps the radiator clean, maximizes engine performance and consequently reduces consumption.
Engine oil
The standard adoption of a highly biodegradable oil reinforces Ferri’s attention and respect for our ecosystem.
The use of biodegradable oil is increasingly indicated in agricultural and forestry machinery, where an accidental oil leak on the ground would not cause a negative environmental impact, unlike the hydraulic oil normally used.
Hydraulic system
The iCUT 3.60 EXTRA uses a closed-circuit hydraulic system, which reduces oil heating and maximizes performance by constantly adjusting the flow/pressure ratio to the actual power requirement. This system allows the power delivered to be precisely balanced based on the power requested, limiting fuel consumption to a minimum.
A separate open-circuit system for services thanks to the VENTING valve on the distributor achieves a drastic reduction in dissipation when no command is activated (for example in the transfer phase). The closed-circuit hydraulic system reduces consumption and increases the performance of the machine with an exceptional productivity-consumption ratio.
Radio control
The controls are arranged in an ergonomic and intuitive way and allow the machine to be used at its best from the very first use. Two large ergonomic joysticks guarantee total control of the machine and the connected equipment. The radio control is designed to operate in multi-frequency mode, constantly searching for the best possible frequency, however it is possible to manually select a specific frequency considered most suitable. It is possible, in a safe manner, to customize the speed controls and the oil flow rate to the equipment used, to best meet the operator’s needs depending on the work to be done.
In addition to the immediate stop button, the console is equipped with indicators for the hydraulic oil coolant temperature, the radio control battery charge, the radio signal power and channel, the engine oil pressure, the fuel reserve warning, the engine rpm indication, the rotor engaged indicator, the engine preheating, the control inversion, the possible clogging of the air filter, the forward mode, the FLEXXAIRE device activation and the engagement/disengagement of the floating system of the connected equipment. The radio control facilitates the tank filling phase, avoiding fuel spills.

Thanks to an optimal weight distribution and a low center of gravity, the iCUT 3.60 EXTRA is able to operate with slope angles in all directions up to 55°, ensuring optimal grip and traction in all working conditions, ensuring the right lubrication to the engine thanks to the solutions adopted by the same engine manufacturer to guarantee reliability and long life.
Extendable undercarriage
The EXTRA undercarriage is the result of Ferri’s experience and concentrates the answers to the needs highlighted by Ferri customers from all continents. It is produced in special high-strength steel. The new profile with the raised rear drive wheel guarantees greater grip to be able to overcome any obstacles or steep slopes with great ease.
The undercarriage is composed of 4 triple-flange lower rollers and a double-flange upper roller and together with 5 pairs of mechanical guides they avoid the risk of the tracks coming out of their working position.
This particular structure was foreseen from the design stage, the need to limit as much as possible the possibility of mud or residues from work or branches getting between the tracks and rollers was also considered.
When it is necessary to modify the width of the undercarriage to ensure greater grip on the ground, the operation of modifying the width of the undercarriage is carried out directly from the radio control, going from 132 to 167 centimeters in a few seconds.
Diagnostics
Brand new diagnostics adopted by best in class, allows to automatically and immediately identify the type of malfunction and identify the corrective maneuver. For a further form of support it was decided to provide the adoption of the Murphy Graphic device as standard, which allows to read the diagnostic information of the engine. In this way, anyone has the possibility to identify the problem in progress and decide on the optimal solution to adopt, furthermore the large display allows to view all the vital information of the icut.

Cejin Multi-X Quick Coupler (optional)
The optional use of CEJN Multi-X couplings offers the advantage of saving time when connecting or disconnecting equipment, since several hydraulic lines are grouped together and can be operated with a single connection. Practicality and simplicity suggest their use in cases where different equipment is used in rapid succession.
Tracks
There are 3 different types of tracks available, to operate in all working conditions and always guarantee perfect adherence to the ground and therefore the efficiency of the machine and the safety of the operator.
EXTREME high profile rubber tracks. Perfect for working on medium and medium-high slopes and for best grass cover preservation. Suitable for transfers.
GRIP rubber tracks with steel brackets guarantee maximum grip and traction on stony terrain or in the presence of significant roughness.
GRIP PLUS rubber tracks, with steel brackets and spikes. Recommended for use in extreme conditions, both in terms of slope and soil structure.
